T J Cable & Underground workers lower a single-lantern streetlight into position on the north side of G Street between 10th and 11th Street in Geneva last week. New streetlights are now located on the north side of G Street between 8th and 11th Street.

The new Philips Lumec Contemporary Lantern Series additions are part of the City of Geneva Downtown Revitalization Streetscape Phase II project. Including upcoming brick paving work, concrete curb and gutter work and the addition of streetlights on the south side of G Street, the CDBG-funded project is expected to cost $541,665.23.
