Timberwolf Boys Team Champs At Tom White Invite In McCool

The Exeter-Milligan boys brought back a team title at the Tom White Track Invite in McCool Junction on April 24, with a team score of 114.
Seniors Tryston Brandt and Trevor Luzum dominated the first place gold metals in several events, while other team-mates weren't far behind.
Tryston Brandt won golds in the long jump (20-1.75), triple jump (41-7) and took the silver in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 41.78 seconds.
Teammate Trevor Luzum also took home the golds in the high jump (6-4), 100-meter dash with 11.38 seconds, 300-meter hurdles at 41.59 seconds, and was runner-up in the 110-meter hurdles in 15.38 seconds.
 The Timberwolf boys came in second in the 3,200-meter relay with a time of 9:31.06; and a time of 3:57.15  in the 1,600-meter relay, earning them fourth place.
Also taking metals were Mitchell Manning with a time of 5:04.25 in the 1,600-meter run; and 11:20.83 in the 3200-meter run, earning golds on both. Patrick Murphy won second place in the high jump with an impressive (5-10.02), while Eric Olsen came in sixth place (5-6) also in the high jump. Peytan Brandt won fourth place in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 17.26 seconds.
Exeter-Milligan Lady Timberwolves also took some first and second place wins and  had a team score of 72.
Tara Mueller came in second place in the discus with (107-10) and took third in the shot put (33-6.50), while Hailey Luzum placed fifth  in the long jump (13-9) and had a time of 18.21 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles, with a sixth place win, while senior Hannah Beethe took home the bronze in the high jump with (4-8.03), fourth place wins in the 100-meter hurdles at 17.60 seconds as well as the 300-meter low hurdle with 52.37 seconds. Beethe also scored sixth place in the 800-meter run with a time of (2:53.20).
Kate Jansky was the Timberwolves over all gold metal winner at the track event, winning first place in the 3,200-meter run (13:09.82) and the 1,600-meter run (5:49.00); while sophomore Katherine White won a silver metal in the 400-meter dash with a time of (1:05.90).
Hannah Beethe, Hannah Horne, Hailey Luzum and Katherine White worked well together earning themselves first place in the 1,600-meter relay with a time of (4:30.95), and Samantha and Hannah Horne, Caitlin Murphy and Sydney Hall took a sixth place spot in the 3,200-meter relay race with a time of (13.13.80).
