Panther Spikers Now 4-2

Fillmore Central finished 1-2 at a tournament at Sandy Creek on Saturday.
The 4-2 Panthers defeated Doniphan-Trumbull 25-18, 25-21, and fell to Superior, 17-25, 25-17, 25-18, and Sandy Creek, 25-21, 25-23 on September 9.
Halle Theis pounded 13 kills against the Cougars.  Macy Scott tallied 19 assists.  Theis, Scott and Jordan Broman all smacked an ace serve in the match.
Theis nailed a dozen kills against the Wildcats and added two ace blocks.  Scott tallied 13 assists.  Jamey Broman and Eliana Varrucciu both thumped a pair of kills against Superior.
Theis drilled 11 kills against the Cardinals and also tallied four ace blocks and two ace serves.  Scott ripped three ace serves and put up 16 ace sets.  Varrucciu tallied four kills and Ja. Broman had three.  Rhiannon Shaner belted an ace serve in the win.
On Thursday, September 7, FC downed Tri County 25-22, 25-14, 25-12 on the road.  Theis crunched 12 kills in the win and added five ace blocks.  Ja. Broman thumped six kills and Scott, Jo. Broman and Varrucciu all had four kills.  Scott put up 22 ace sets.  Lexis Jenkins smashed three ace serves for the winners.
On Tuesday, September 5, FC got past Milford 19-25, 25-20, 25-15, 25-20.  Theis and Ja. Broman both pounded out 16 kills.  Scott added six and 32 assists.  Varrucciu had five kills.
