Moses, Lovan Gibbon Champs

Fillmore Central landed in eighth place in the team standings at the 2018 Gibbon Bill Foster Invite.  Ord were meet champions and Wood River was runners-up.
Riley Moses won all his matches in Gibbon for a first-place finish at 285 pounds.  All of the heavyweight junior's wins were by pinfall and Moses is now 31-3 on the year.
Christian Lovan went 3-0 at Gibbon to take top honors at 145 pounds.  Lovan is now 28-9 on the season. Lovan earned a pin on Saturday.
Parker Trowbridge took fourth place at 132 points in Gibbon.  The FC senior went 3-2 on the day with two narrow loses to Miguel Alvarado of Ord.  Trowbridge is now 25-11.
Gavin Hinrichs went 3-2 on Saturday to take fifth place at 152 pounds.  Hinrichs had one fall and two decision victories.  He is 24-13 on the year.
Both Gatlin Motis and Travien Motis placed sixth in Gibbon.  Gatlin (4-4) went 1-3 at 160 pounds. Travien (21-11) finished 1-3 at 195 pounds.
Dillon Fushia (13-20) failed to get a win at 106 pounds.  Conner Nun (8-21) also couldn't capture a win at 113 pounds.  Kurtis Hinrichs (9-10) picked a victory at 145 pounds but failed to earn a medal.
Panther coach Ryan Komenda tabbed Lovan and Trowbridge as his squad's Wrestlers of the Week and named Moses as his team's Practice Wrestler of the Week. The Panthers competed in a quad at Centennial on Tuesday and will travel to Hebron on Friday to take part in the 2018 Thayer Central Invitational.
