Sunday GAC concert

This Sunday, February 17, at 3 p.m., at the historic Geneva City Auditorium/Rialto II Theatre, the Geneva Arts Council presents the Mighty Magic Pants—a comic, pop-rock vocal band that’ll rock your socks off.
Winners of the prestigious Parents Choice Award, the Mighty Magic Pants began in 2012 when Mike Mennard, an award-winning children’s musician and poet, craved some good harmonies.  What he got was a marvelous pop-rock vocal band that blends music, poetry, motion and humor into an unforgettable and educational experience the whole family will enjoy.
Mennard is joined by his talented friends “Dreamer Drea” who loves to sing, “Cheery Chang” who grew up in Zambia and majored in music at Union College, and “Buccaneer” Ben, a vocal performance graduate from Union College.
The Mighty Magic Pants strive to make someone’s day, everyday, with their outrageously fun show that combines learning and entertainment with a positive message for children of all ages.
The Geneva Arts Council is supported in part by the Nebraska Arts Council, the Nebraska Cultural Endowment, the National Endowment for the Arts, the City of Geneva, the Fillmore County Foundation, the Mary Tous Charitable Foundation and private contributors, including IPSCO Steel, Inc.-Geneva Works, Heartland Bank and many generous individuals.
