E-M Remains Perfect, 9-0

The Exeter-Milligan Timberwolves crushed the Randolph Cardinals 64-32 in eight-man football action Thursday, Oct. 25 at Milligan in a game dominated by a 377-yard rushing attack from the Timberwolves.

The Timberwolves jumped in front 30-0 after the first quarter, led 58-0 after the second quarter, and then held a lead of 64-16 going into the final period.

Exeter-Milligan stayed undefeated at 9-0.

“This was a good team win,” said Exeter-Milligan Coach Dean Filipi.

The next game for Exeter-Milligan will be against Lourdes Central Catholic (6-3) on Wednesday, October 31, at Nebraska City, during the next round in the state football playoffs. With a win in Nebraska City, the Timberwolves would host the State Quarter final game in Milligan on Tuesday, November 6.
