“Well, she’s got her Daddy’s car and she cruised to the hamburger stand now . . . “ Songs from the Beach Boys conjures up thoughts of summer fun and cruising in a classic car! The Fillmore County Relay For Life can help with both of these. Plans are currently being made to bring summer fun to a good cause while organizers are “Cruisin’ for a Cure.”
On Saturday, July 27, Relay For Life participants can cruise to the square and get both fun and classic cars. There will be inflatables for the kids, cars being shown off, food, music, and all to raise money to fight cancer. Organizers invite everyone who has a car they would like to show off to plan to bring it that day to the square. There will be no entry fee – just a chance to show it off! More details will be coming, but if you have questions you can contact Denice Kovanda.
Don’t have a Relay For Life team? That’s okay—you can still join the cruise. Plan to come spend a little time, a long time, or the whole night on the square “Cruisin’ for a Cure.” Questions can be answered by event organizers Kaela Lockhart or Denice Kovanda.
“And we’ll have fun, fun, fun, ‘til her Daddy takes the T-bird away.” Come cruise with us!
