Plans Continue For Ohiowa 125th

A group representing Ohiowa’s organizations continues to meet in preparation for the Fillmore County village’s 125th Celebration this summer. Plans are underway to provide a weekend of activities for entertaining all ages.

Some of the events being planned are co-ed softball, children’s games (including the popular inflatable games), music, movies, home-made bake auction, antique tractor pull, antique machinery display, kid’s parade, horseshoes, parade, living history demonstrations including Darrel Draper as our 26th President Theodore Roosevelt, and a dance. There will be something for everyone. There is a collection of memorabilia being put together for the special event.

Organizers ask you to mark your calendar to be in Ohiowa the weekend of June 15-17.
