Three Awarded Quilts of Valor

Sunday, August 2, was a beautiful day in Cordova where three Legion Post No. 359 veterans were awarded Quilts of Valor. The quilts were presented to them by their family members during private, backyard ceremonies due to the restrictions caused by Covid-19. A small group was invited to Dwight Johnson’s backyard for Dale Due and Dwight at 2 p.m. Then at 4 p.m., Kenny Due was awarded his quilt in his yard, where many of his family were present and to celebrate his 91st birthday, which was August 1.
