State Wrestling Medals

Three Fillmore Central wrestlers earned medals last weekend at the 2021 NSAA State Wrestling Championships. Earning medals in Omaha were Alex Schademann (40-7), 3-2 at State, fifth at 126 pounds; Connor Asche (28-8), 3-2 in Omaha, fourth at 285 pounds; and Travis Meyer (40-9), 3-3 at State, sixth at 106 pounds. The Panthers wrestled 11-11 in Omaha and landed in a tie for 12th place in the Class C team standings.
