Use the County’s Official Drop Box…

A Fillmore County motorist uses the Official Fillmore County Drop Box behind the Fillmore County Courthouse in Geneva last week. The drop box can be used for any county correspondence, but should be extra busy this coming week with drop-offs of Nebraska Primary Election ballots. Polling places in Exeter, Fairmont, Geneva, Grafton, Milligan and Shickley will also be open on Tuesday, May 12, for in-person voting from 8 a.m., until 8 p.m. Call the Fillmore County Clerk’s Office at 402-759-4931 if you are unsure of which precinct you live in. Election officials across Nebraska expect a huge percentage of primary votes to be cast by the early-voting option. Besides nationwide and state election choices, the two local issues to be voted on are a 1.5-cent village sales tax proposal in Milligan and whether to allow a keno lottery in Grafton.
