FC FBLA Attends Virtual Leadership Conference

The Fillmore Central FBLA officers and four members attended the Virtual Fall Leadership Conference at the Geneva Public Library on September 30. The day started at 10 a.m. with opening remarks by FBLA State President Lucas Lunzmann.
The FBLA state officers hosted zoom meetings for the members throughout the workshops. The workshops included Maximize Your FBLA Engagement presented by State Officers Wyatt Nun and Caden Carlson, Communication is Key with State Officers presented by Jaelyn Gross and Isabella Cao, and Build Your Team with State Officers Lucas Lunzmann and Trey Lamkins.
The keynote speaker was past UNL Husker football player and motivational speaker Aaron Davis. He hosted two sessions entitled, Amplify Your Leadership, where he shared tips for being an effective leader in difficult times.
Local member and president Wyatt Nun also serves as State Reporter so he was very involved in planning the Fall Leadership Conference which was hosted over a two-day period. Several taped leadership video presentations were also created by the state officer team for use during the year.
