Geneva Sign ‘Lit’ Up Aagain

A special celebration took place at dusk on Tuesday, September 1, when the restored Geneva arrow entrance sign was officially lit up. Special guest Bette Mattox-Manning, who helped rescue the disgarded sign several decades ago with Bill Turek, had the honors of lighting the sign around 8:30 p.m. The sign, located at 13th and G Street, highlights the recent two-block main street entrance project.
