Homecoming Week at Fillmore Central
The Homecoming Court at Fillmore Central High School this year includes (L-R) Ellijah Rose, Katie Petersen, Brock Tatro, Macy Scott, Carson Tatro, Rhiannon Shaner, Izayah Morris, Halle Theis, Gavin Hinrichs and Erin Schmidt. This year’s King and Queen will be crowned Friday night after the FC/Minden football game.
This is Homecoming Week at Fillmore Central. The Homecoming Parade (Whip the Whippets! theme) will begin at 2:45 p.m., this Friday, September 20. With construction on G Street not expected to start until early October, the annual parade will follow its traditional route. A Pep Rally will take place in front of the Fillmore County Courthouse upon the parade’s conclusion.
The 2-1 Panthers will tangle with 2-1 Minden on the grid iron Friday night with kick-off at 7 p.m. (hamburger feed before). Organizers encourage all downtown business owners to decorate their windows for Homecoming Week.
